  Overall, it's just okay. The fries and sweet potatoe fries were delicious and crisp! The "fry dippers" are potato wedges, just fyi. They're good too. The burgers we got weren't worth $17 each though. The buns were black, and the meat was super charred. But the atmosphere was clean and welcoming and the service was fast and friendly!

  Matty G's Steakburgers is a solid burger spot that gets a lot right, even if a few details keep it from being a top-tier go-to. What we ordered: Hail Mary (added extra patty) Garlic fries Field of Dreams (no mushrooms, added bacon, lettuce, tomato, swapped aioli for mayo) The burger itself was the standout. The Hail Mary was cooked great and had really solid flavor. The onion ring on it was done right—not chewy—which made a big difference in the overall bite. Food (quick ratings in words): Hail Mary (extra patty): great — cooked well, flavorful, solid build Garlic fries: good — extra crispy, but the garlic wasn’t a favorite Field of Dreams: great — solid overall, ghost pepper cheese had good flavor without being too spicy They did miss the jalapeños on my wife’s burger and didn’t offer to bring them out after the fact, which was a bit of a miss. Also, they're sauces are only filled between 30-40% which means you need multiple. Value is a little high for what you’re getting. Portion sizes and quality are decent. We spent $60 with tip for the above order. Service overall was strong—fast on refills and attentive when we needed things like extra ranch and napkins. Staff stayed engaged without hovering. Extra points to Julie for asking us about to-go refills. Really nice touch. The service is what saved this from being a 3 star. Final verdict: A solid burger spot with good execution and a few minor misses. Worth trying, and we’d come back to try other sides, like the scoopers, but only if we were in the area. Crave Factor: 🔥🔥🔥 (Would come back, but not going out of the way)
