Three weeks ago I bought some canned goods, brought them home, opened them and they had gone bad. Expired and on the shelves. Two weeks ago I went in for cabbage. I asked the young produce guy if he had fresh cabbage. He said he'd check. He came back about four minutes later and handed me this tiny cabbage with loose wrapping on it. I realized he had peeled off all the bad leaves and given me a cabbage half the size as the ones in the bins. They all had black leaves. This week I got a salad yesterday and went home to use it for dinner. Premixed Caesar. I opened it and 50% of the lettuce was brown. I'm done. I know you can take stuff back but who has the time? It is just really gone downhill and I can't afford to throw out food. I might as well go up the street where I can spend the same amount and have good, fresh food. If you shop here, check the expiration date and be careful in produce.
