I really fail to understand corporate's endgame here.
This now marks the fourth time I've visited this location and been unable to purchase donuts.
Four attempts to a location that apparently can't be bothered to actually open the lobby, so I can come in and see what's available before placing an order. Because anyone who's visited this location knows that's a total crapshoot given the day you roll in.
Four chances to spend my gift certificate on merch, but since I can only go through the drive thru instead: I guess I'll just have to use my clairvoyance and visualize what's available.
Seriously. Save your time and money and just drive to Clive. At least the donuts will be fresh (this location just gets them from there anyway) and is actually open for business.

Krispy Kreme is supposed to be a donut shop but every time I’ve gone in, there out of donuts, yet there are at least four people working there. If there are no donuts and they don’t make the donuts there, what are they doing?

All Glee, No Glaze: The $2 Disappointment 🍩❌
There are few things more heartbreaking than a carload of giddy kids (and adults) ready for a donut feast, only to be met with a "Closed" sign and a dark lobby.
We were in town and decided to treat the family. We even did our homework—the website looked amazing, and we were hyped to take advantage of the "Buy a dozen, get a dozen Glazed for $2" promotion. We had our order mapped out and our "donut game faces" on.
The Reality Check (Pro-Tip: Call Ahead):
Despite the official website and Google listing stating they were open until 9:00 PM, we pulled up at 7:30 PM on Sunday to find the doors locked and the lights out.
• Digital vs. Physical: In 2024, there is no excuse for a major franchise to have inaccurate hours online. It’s a massive letdown for traveling families who are relying on that info to plan their evening.
• Missed Opportunity: We went from "maximum hype" to "maximum disappointment" in a heartbeat. We were ready to walk out with two dozen donuts, but instead, we walked away with a carload of bummed-out kids and a wasted trip.
If you’re craving that "Hot Light" experience, don't trust the internet. Call this location before you make the drive, or you might find yourself staring at a dark window instead of a dozen glazed.
Wanted to get the special edition Charlie Brown Christmas 🎄 donuts, but a few were sold out.
They offered to make the sold-out ones for us, but we didn't want to wait...
(Kids, road trip... you know how 🤔 that goes!)
They were very fresh, just made a few hours ago.
