  Me and boyfriend went last monday for a late valentine’s day night. my boyfriend has been wanting to go to a steakhouse, we have just never went due to cost. i surprised him with fleming’s and i am so happy i chose here. walking in, it was so beautiful. i did make a reservation ahead of time. we were 5 minutes late due to traffic unfortunately. we were sat immediately. our server was stephen who was great help with this being our first trip. I will say that i am a picky eater when it comes to meat specifically so i was nervous going into this. to start we got a ceaser salad to share. we got a chilled forks when served the salad. we had fresh ground pepper added to the top which i felt enhanced the experience just from the start. we did stick with water for drinks, came with a side of lemon and lime. we got our bread and butter. both were great. we were given this orange buttery texture dish when given the butter with the bread. i am unsure what it was but i did not enjoy that. i decided on the 36 hour braised short rib and my boyfriend got the filet with espresso butter. both were chef’s signatures. when the food arrived it was given to us by someone else. i normally don’t notice or honestly care however our entrees were switched. we weren’t asked who’s was who’s. had the food placed in-front of us. again i normally don’t care, simple easy fix. however one of these plates was extremely hot. this made it a little harder to switch. not a huge deal we did it. both of us were blown away by the food. only complaint i would say is i did not love the sauce that surrounded my meat and mashed potatoes but it was easy to get around. my boyfriend was in amazement with how good and well cooked his meat was. absolutely in love. our waiter came and made sure everything was good. asked if we wanted dessert. we absolutely had to. i choose a chocolate lava cake. absolutely delicious and hot. my boyfriend got the new york cheesecake. it wasn’t a favorite for either of us. the strawberry red wine sauce we felt you could definitely taste the wine in. my boyfriend isn’t the biggest fan of wine so he didn’t eat much of him. he did love the whip cream however. the staff here was amazing and seemed to work so well as a team to make sure every table was set. we did have some food to take home and they had everything boxed and bagged for us. while leaving our waiter stephen handed me a little box with some truffles in it which really was amazing and he made the night feel special for me and my man. we are so excited to go back and we have not stopped talking about the food and the experience since.

  I wanted to tell everyone I know how fabulous Fleming ‘s really is. My wife and son Triston today were treated so warmly by the staff. My son, who is inspired to become a chef was thrilled that the Chefs invited him into the kitchen. He got to ask them many questions and they gave him so much valuable information. Beyond that great opportunity came the delicious food which they couldn’t stop raving about. My family will be going back very soon to indulge again. What a treasure to have such a great place to dine.
