- AFAnn FenderJan 6, 20265.0We were all gathered for our family Thanksgiving when Iowa had a huge 13” snow storm. We had reservations to take our whole family to a downtown restaurant before Disney on Ice that Saturday evening. The planned restaurant called and were closing as were most places due to the storm. We were able to get a reservation at Flemings. All 10 of us braved the bad roads and were surprised to see we were the only customers that night. The waitstaff, cooks, and manager stayed just for us! It was a great, calm, relaxing meal. Delicious and very attentive service. They closed the restaurant afterwards and we trudged along on the snowy roads to The Casey Center for the performance (which was only about half full). A good time to be thankful for fine businesses and entertainment in DesMoines, Iowa. Thank You to Flemings! If you’ve never eaten there, you should try it. It’s impressive even on a “normal day”!

Our servers Steven and one other gentleman( I'm so sorry I forgot his name 😅) were really nice and kind to us. They went above and beyond while serving us. The food was delicious. I wasn't to fond of the portion sizes but it was still tasted really good. The ambience was really nice as well. I loved how they had a clear windows looking into part of the kitchen making the experience more enjoyable.
