    Horrible service. Appeared to be significantly understaffed with long wait times, while the dining area wasn't even full. Several orders at our table were messed up. Bread delivered after we were half way through the meal. Drinks seemed to be all ice and almost no liquor.

    We were seated with no wait. We noticed when entering the entryway was very dirty and unkept. When we entered we noticed the dividers between the booths were very dusty. Floors were very dirty and leaves had blown in and were just left on the floor. When seated, the surface of the tabletop was very sticky and needed to be resurfaced or at least put a table cloth over them. Looked like all booths were in the same condition. We didn’t even use the restrooms judging the uncleanliness of the rest of the restaurant. All the rugs and runners looked they had never been cleaned. Food was good, service was good, but the entire restaurant needs a good cleaning and resurfacing the booth tabletops. For the price, we won’t return.

    Had only one waiter who was slow forgot to bring refills and it was on Thursday at noon only a couple people in here no excuse to be that slow and good was horrible and over priced ... Olive garden is way better

    Went on Sunday 2/15 and service was terrible, but we did not complain to our server as she seemed busy and understaffed. We waited about 15 minutes for our drink order to be taken, and then another 15 to get our drinks and have our food order taken, and then our food took over an hour to come out, with no communication from our server as to what was going on. There were probably 8-10ish other tables in the restaurant and only 2 servers. We were a table of 6 that had 3 children under 5 with us, who miraculously were very patient during the whole experience, despite numerously complaining about how hungry they were. No extra bread brought while we wait or refills offered of fountain drinks/water that we had. We basically didn’t see our server for the hour+ we were waiting for our food. I have no idea if the kitchen lost our ticket or if she forgot to put our food in because there was no communication given. The phone was constantly ringing and they were too busy to answer since they seemed to be short staffed. Bathrooms were out of toilet paper and paper towels. Food was ok once it came out but nowhere near waiting for. Not sure why management wasn’t there filling in if they were that short staffed- they’re right next to the busiest mall in Des Moines and it was a weekend.

    Our waiter altered the tip and total lines on our credit card receipt, giving himself a very nice gratuity. I called in a month later and the manager found the receipt and verified the fraud. He was apologetic and stated a full refund would be issued. Four months later, with no refund posted, I contacted the restaurant again and the same manager was again apologetic. He said the refund would be forthcoming, and let me know that the waiter (a repeat offender) had been terminated. It has now been almost six months without a refund for the theft committed at this location. That is the only reason I am finally contacting my bank and posting this review publicly. I’m disappointed in upper management for not resolving this issue back when it was first identified.
