  Was 1pm on a Saturday. No one was in line in the drive thru and not a person in line inside...with that being said. I ordered a #3 with fries and no drink and 2 packs of mayo. Order was perfect on the screen, even with the mayo packets. Paid at widow 1, kid was super cool and nice. Arrive at window 2 where I 6 employees inside talking. 1 finally comes to me and tells me to pull up to stall 1 and wait. Now remember I am the only person in line, also it's raining. I pulled ahead and waited for over 7 mins. Poor kid has to run out in the rain and brought me my bag even though still no one in drive thru lane. Start to drive of and checked bag....no mayo packets. Pulled around and went inside, it was dead in there. 5 people looked at me at the counter like I was lost. Asked and finally got mayo. Got to truck and opened bag to eat and burger and fries were old. Figured I pulled ahead and waited 7 mins for fresh food, but no just slow over staffed McDonald's workers making 16 dollars an hour. Last time Ottomwa gets me!!!! Do better Ottomwa

  If you are craving McDonald's then you will get the food you are looking for. The quality is pretty basic. I got a Quarter pounder with cheese, it was sloppy but it usually is. I wasn't expecting anything else. The fries were fresh and I have to say Oskaloosa seems to have fresh fries when we go. That is the only way McDonald's fries are good. I like sweet and sour sauce with my fries and they put in the exact number that I asked for. The service has always been better than expected. I don't put much pressure on food service in fast food, I just want all the things I paid for/ordered. The people were friendly in the drive thru. I can't say anything about the inside of the restaurant. The only large gripe I would say about the whole experience and why we don't usually eat out is the price. There were 2 of us we ordered a Quarter pounder meal, nugget meal and it all ends up being well over 20 dollars. That is far to expensive for fast food. They are making too much at the top.

  The coffee is always good, the fries have always been hot and fresh but what really keeps me returning to this McDonalds is the the staff, they have always been so nice!

  Asked for table service in the app. After 15 minutes went looking for my food—it was sitting cold in a bag on the counter. And I still had to get the attention of an employee to get my drink cup. “We’re short staffed”. Well keep up the mediocrity and you’ll have more time on your hands. Wouldn’t come back here—there’s another McD’s a few miles away anyway.

  If you want a long wait for the wrong food this is the place to go. It doesn’t matter what you order, you get what you get. Every time I order here my order is missing something. I ordered online today, a QPC + extra for a 2nd patty. Large fries. Pulled in at 4:05 to pick up. Was asked to pull around to wait for my food to be made. Did not receive my food until 4:35. They entirely forgot about me, and then gave me a bag with cold food, and the wrong food. I’m over giving them the benefit of the doubt.
