  $16 for cheese curds that had NO cheese. There were two on the whole order that had any cheese. The issue was handled by charging full price for them with $10 off the next time....that won't happen due to today. Very poor customer service and poor food quality. $16 for 2 cheese curds. Manager seemed new to management. She was short and curt with no real conversation. I felt wrong for telling them the problem.

  First time trying. Cheese curds just ok. Not impressed with salmon, just average, could have been hotter. Crispy rice side was cold on first bite. Sorry, but not worth the price. Disappointing experience. 😕

  We are food connoisseurs. We've been going here regularly since the day they opened. We've had almost everything on their menu and it's always been mouthwateringly appetizing, delectable, savory and absolutely scrumptious. The employees and owners are truly wonderful people, attentive, knowledgeable, efficient, professional and friendly. You can tell they enjoy their job as they are always smiling. They're a well oiled machine, everyone works together and happily helps each other. We absolutely love the cozy atmosphere and we have parties in their private room frequently. I don't personally know anyone that works there or the owners so l do not have a biased opinion. I honestly can't think of a negative thing to say about Copper Boar. It is our favorite restaurant BY FAR.

  Wow! Had a late lunch/early dinner with family. First time eating at the Copper Boar, and all of us LOVED it. We shared a mac and cheese entree for the whole table. Also had the Buffalo wings, mushroom and squash pizza, roasted veggies side, French fries side, almond chicken salad (I think that's what it's called), and squash bisque. Raves all around -- especially, surprisingly, the roasted veggies side. I want to go back and get it tomorrow. Our server was top notch, too. Love the generous booth seating. The only small quibble is that you don't get to see an itemized bill before paying. The server just tells you the total amount using a handheld machine where they swipe your card. (I think another reviewer mentioned this. Like them, I guess it's the Gen Xer in me who'd like to check the items first.) I suppose it's good in that it doesn't waste paper. Not sure what would happen if we asked to see a bill. Not too big a deal all in all. We'll definitely go back soon!

  What can I possibly say about the copper boar that could describe how wonderful my experience was? When I made my reservation online, there was a little box that asked if I had any special requests. Not one to turn down an opportunity, I wrote in the little box, “please be as weird as possible. This is a second date and I’m a big old weirdo and I need to see if this guy can hang. He says he’s a weirdo too, so let’s find out.“ I arrived at the restaurant slightly early, and when I checked in the hostess leaned forward eagerly and said, oh my goodness we’re so excited. We have so much planned. And oh boy did they! They had coloring pages and crayons, waiting for us on the table. When they brought out our Lemonade and iced tea they put them in hot coffee cups with five straws in each cup. The server who brought them said, in a very serious voice, please let us know if you need any more straws! At one point the hostess told us that there was a bird loose in the building and that she had some seeds and a net that she was going to use to catch it. His silverware roll had several forks in it, and mine had several knives. It was absolutely hilarious, he was completely baffled, but he absolutely rolled with all of the weirdness. So I’m eternally grateful to the copper boar for helping me vet a new guy. 10 out of 10 experience I will 100% be returning. Also, the food was absolutely delicious and so were the drinks!
