  We have been to goldfinch in the past and really enjoyed it. This time was disappointing from a food standpoint. Their service and atmosphere is still very good! My husband and I split a cinnamon roll (made to order in a cast iron pan). They came out anemic, and were completely raw (and we like doughy rolls). Rolls were not seasoned, and frosting was watery, not very sweet and had some spice added (cayenne?). We left over half. Husband had the breast fast tacos, they were ok (chorizo was flavorful) but eggs were under seasoned and not enough pico/pickled cabbage. I had the hot honer hatcher; hot honey was good but my eggs were undercooked, my bisquits were dry and burned. The potatoes were crispy though! Overall food quality just wasn’t there; spent 50$+ bucks and drove 30 min and really can’t say we will come back. We love supporting local businesses and have loved the food here previously so it breaks my heart.

  Bree was fantastic! She had great knowledge and recommendations, we enjoyed everything we ordered from the cocktails and beers to the desert. The patio is so well kept and relaxing, we can’t wait to come back.

  I worked closely with Amanda to reserve their private dining room for my mother-in-law's 70th birthday party and it was a fantastic experience. Amanda and team were so flexible on our dining structure (plated vs buffet vs menu) and everything exceeded expectations. For a party of 20 ordering off of a limited menu, we were impressed by the speed of which entrees came out and the quality/temperature of each meal.

  Over the years I’ve eaten at goldfinch many many many times and this last time was a stent. I’ve I waited five months to go back to this place for my last experience and this time it was no better. I’ve given it my last try I will not be going back. Hi waited forever for somebody to come by and at 6:02 the waitress comes by and I said hey, can I still get happy hour prices? No, you can’t 602 Well, then I don’t want another drink then we proceeded to order food. I got the Philly cheesesteak which was like five pieces of steak on the biggest bun in the world dry not very good. I still got a burger was overcooked dry asked for ketchup. We got one dish, a ketchup for our whole entire table of four people that had french fries the waiter. The waitress never paid attention ever she came by like three times we had water spill. nobody paid attention to that we cleaned it up ourselves didn’t get any more napkins. There’s like a wet pile of napkins on the table the table we sat at was wobbly and crap that’s why water spilled. It’s like I said hey we have a kid and she said to set the most wobbly table they had so that was good. Don’t recommend it anymore. That place has gone downhill. I’m not going back and tell you that much.

  Stopped for Sunday breakfast today with my family with 2 very different experiences. Two of our plates were great, hot and fresh. The other two very average and not that warm. The pototos must have been cooked a while ago and cooled off. They also must have just ran out of these cold pototoes because on one of the great plates they had fresh, hot and crispy ones. Wow.. these fresh potatoes were so good and stood out. We all laughed because after sampling all the same potatoes it was shocking how extremely different the same items could be. Also the bacon was not cooked fresh and came in a big tangled pile that seemed tonged out of a not so warm warmer and not even put back on the grill. Then there was the Sourdough Toast and English muffin, both toasted but sitting a long while waiting for a plate because they were hard and cold to eat. As I said the other two meals were great and I really enjoyed my hot honey, chicken with eggs on a fresh biscuit which all seemed cooked well to order. On a plus.. props to the egg cook... because on all the plates the eggs were cooked well. We'll 2 of us would chose to go back yet 2 of us would not.
