  Staff is usually great, thats what defines a good Mcdonalds. Easily one of the best Mcdonalds in Des Moines and especially the area. Food is consistently good.

  This RVP McDonald's can not keep good customer service going. They are very inconsistent with their app, pricing, etc. One minute they give you free condiment cups (like for those of us who don't do ketchup) and then the next time you visit, you're getting overcharged for such a small condiment cup. They also started charging for mayo packets which they didn't do before and some of us prefer to get our sandwiches with no mayo and to add it ourselves And we shouldn't be charged extra to do that. It's not the customer's fault they can never seem to get the right balance of mayo it's always too dry or way too much mayonnaise. They are also infamous for making mistakes because they don't pay attention to special orders. Then if you complain they act like it's your fault when it is not. Many of the people that work at this particular location are rude. There are a few that are actually quite exemplary when it comes to customer service. But they are few and far between. It's understandable that every business has to make a profit but at this point it's obvious they are like many other businesses that care more about their profit margin than they do their customers. Gee the next thing you know they'll charge you just for even coming in their store. McDonald's is starting to get pathetic. RVP has a lot of work to do to earn back the respect that they used to have.

  Never know what you're getting here. Went a while back and got spicy blah. The last time, too much salt on fries. If you want to kill yourself, there you go. My big mac slid out of the bun(s), too much special sauce. Sounds and looks funny unless it happens to you. : (
