  Excellent experience at Blue Sushi. This was our first time at the restaurant, and the experience was great from start to finish. The staff was very attentive and friendly, and they made excellent menu suggestions, which we really appreciated as first-time guests. The quality of the food is outstanding—you can truly taste the freshness, especially in the tuna, shrimp, and crab. You can definitely notice the difference compared to other sushi places. They also offer happy hour from Monday to Friday until 6:30 p.m., with several menu items on promotion, some priced $3–$8 less than the regular menu, which is a great bonus. The restaurant is beautiful, spacious, and very clean, with easy parking available. Overall, a complete and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back.

  Really solid place for sushi. Their roll game is strong and they have a good assortment of nigiri but missed out on things like offering chirashi and any sort of chef's selection of nigiri. Along those lines, their main sushi chef was not in the house so I decided to stick with what looked good from their selection of rolls. First up was a salmon hand roll. I've eaten a lot of salmon hand rolls over the years but this was unique. Served alongside was a deconstructed spicy Mayo as a dipping sauce. Really good if somewhat unusual approach. Very fresh salmon. Tidal Wave was up next. Mainly because I sat at the sushi bar and watched the young chef roll one. It looked good and then he added fresh crab which made it a must-have. Final roll of the night was tataki maki. I generally have a mixed opinion of the torched rolls because I think the flame can impart a bit of acrid taste. They nailed it on this roll!

  Had a lovely experience with my wife earlier this week! Our server, Mattie, was incredibly informative and attentive, and all the sushi and drinks came out fresh and quickly. We will be returning soon!

  I ordered cali roll and asked to switch mock crab with cooked salmon. The salmon was raw and the avocado wasn’t fresh.

  If you’re expecting authentic Japanese sushi, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. The quality of the food fell short. The ingredients used were not good in quality, and even the basics—like the sushi rice—were not done well. The rice didn’t stick together, and fell apart easily. Overall, this is a very average experience. Don’t come with high expectations. One piece of advice for the owner: if you want to create new sushi, please make sure it’s done well, or stick with the traditional sushi.
