  Every time I come here I leave with a super BITTER latte, wasting a whole $8 when I could make a better one at home. Not sure why I still bother.

  I arrived at Cariban Coffee and was standing in line, waiting to place my order. While I was there, a white male walked up, didn’t acknowledge me, and immediately began placing his order. The staff member—a heavyset white woman—started taking his order without asking who was next or acknowledging that I had already been waiting. As I was still deciding what to order, the interaction and lack of awareness completely shifted my experience. The atmosphere felt unwelcoming, and the treatment came across as unfriendly and dismissive. It made me reconsider even wanting to purchase anything from the business. That situation left a bad taste in my mouth— its not just about the coffee- isn’t just about someone cutting the line. but the respect and basic courtesy i should of expect when I walk into this business—it’s about how the staff handled it. A simple “who’s next?” or even a brief acknowledgment that I was waiting would have made a significant difference. Basic respect and courtesy should be standard when customers walk into any establishment. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

  Great coffee and service. Breakfast items were good but pricey. $30 for 2 coffees (one was coffee of the day) and breakfast items were small.
