  Overpriced “jumbo” chili dog. 6$ plus tax is crazy. Barely any chili on it and regular sliced American cheese

  My first time here. I was a little confused how everything worked when I first walked in but figured it out quickly. The staff was very helpful at the counter where you place an order if not using their app. They were very busy. Food was cooked to order and there was plenty of places to sit. Atmosphere was pleasant and gave you the old Maid-rite feel. Music was the classics. Very good first time impression. And they have plenty of outside patio seating for when the weather gets better.

  Walking in, I had high hopes. Hope faded as I waited for a long time to get my food. When I got my food, I received overdone chicken strips and a luke warm hot dog ... The hot dog wasn't even beef. The food was too expensive for the quality. The only thing that I enjoyed was my vanilla malt.

  Food was good, but heaven forbid you have any variation in your order because they can't ever figure it out. I had an email from Portillo's Corporate with 2 comp bar codes for an entree, side and drink that very plainly said had to be used in one sales transaction. The outside order taker couldn't get them to work and told me to go to the 1st window. They told me they couldn't do it as one transaction (yet somehow they did) and that next time I had to come inside with my comps because they couldn't do it as one transaction, even though the email I had said nothing about only using it inside. I said I hope there isn't a next time because these comps were because you screwed up my last order so bad. He then started loudly telling me, "but you will want to come back and try our Perks program", and then proceeded to give me a lecture on how great the Perks program is and showed me how to sign up on a receipt even though I have been a Perks member for a year. My experiences at this location have been that there is a management/customer service problem.
