  Got food poisoning from our food. I know this because hours after eating it my husband and I both had upset stomachs. The next day we were both vomiting and pooping ourselves all day long. My kids were fine since they didn't eat here. His hamburger bun was also drenched in meat juice. It was so soggy we had to scrape it off.

  Food was good, but heaven forbid you have any variation in your order because they can't ever figure it out. I had an email from Portillo's Corporate with 2 comp bar codes for an entree, side and drink that very plainly said had to be used in one sales transaction. The outside order taker couldn't get them to work and told me to go to the 1st window. They told me they couldn't do it as one transaction (yet somehow they did) and that next time I had to come inside with my comps because they couldn't do it as one transaction, even though the email I had said nothing about only using it inside. I said I hope there isn't a next time because these comps were because you screwed up my last order so bad. He then started loudly telling me, "but you will want to come back and try our Perks program", and then proceeded to give me a lecture on how great the Perks program is and showed me how to sign up on a receipt even though I have been a Perks member for a year. My experiences at this location have been that there is a management/customer service problem.

  It's refreshing to find a place that has quick food service. Isnt overpriced had a modern atmosphere. And still has food that tastes good. We just got a hot Italian beef and chicken strips and split them. Chicken was ok. Italian beef was definitely good enough to try again. Maybe its because it's new to me. But it seemed a lot healthier than McDonald's, Hardee's and Wendy's. Etc.

  This has to be the worst portilos I’ve ever had!! How do you serve a dry Italian beef? Also I asked for extra sweet extra hot and got two peppers and a pepper stem!!! Then the peppers are withered to hell and not even remotely thick in any way!! If you don’t give a shit about quality fire someone cause they aren’t doing it right! I’m from Chicago and I’ve never been to a place this bad in all my life

  Went here lastnight for dinner with my bf. It was our first time going and we were actually looking forward to it because of all of the good things we’ve heard. The atmosphere? Great, no complaints. However, the food was very… mid. We were like ok whatever it is what it is. Until my bf woke up in the middle of the night with terrible food poisoning. He got the bacon cheeseburger and didn’t even end up eating but a few bites because he said it tasted off, but he couldn’t put his finger on why. For this reason we definitely do not recommend, and will not be coming back.
