  I usually love a Krispy Kreme run with my girls, but our recent visit was completely soured by the staff. We came in for two dozen glazed and a specialty football doughnut, but we left feeling like we were an inconvenience just for being there. The employee helping us (with purple hair) was incredibly rude from the start. After ordering our glazed, my daughter pointed to the football doughnut she wanted. The employee ignored her, walked to the register, and started ringing us up. When I reminded her we still wanted the specialty doughnut, she snapped that they were out of it. I pointed to the football one clearly sitting in the case, and she argued that it was "in the wrong spot" and they were out of whatever was supposed to be there. When I clarified we just wanted the one that was physically in the case, she rolled her eyes into next week and stomped over to get it. She acted mean and bothered during the entire transaction. It was so noticeable that even my 8 and 11-year-old daughters asked, "Uh, what did we do wrong?" When kids can feel that kind of negative energy, you know it’s bad. • Service Quality: Product confusion happens, but there is no excuse for eye-rolling and "stomping" in a customer-facing role. • Atmosphere: A doughnut shop should be a happy place for families. This employee made it feel tense and unwelcoming. • Management Note: Inventory issues are one thing, but training on basic courtesy and "service with a smile" (or at least without a scowl) is desperately needed here. The doughnuts were fine, but the service was bottom-tier. I’d rather go somewhere else where my kids don’t feel like they’re "annoying" the staff just by ordering.

  Forgot a free donut and received a regular donut when it was supposed to be filled for my online order. Talked with the "manager" and the entire time he was making excuses. "Oh we probably didn't see it" "are you sure you ordered filled" um just look at the receipt?? Said he would refund the order and I got an email saying there was a refund for 40 cents 🤣 are you joking??

  Krispy Kreme, why are you open in the evenings if you don't have any donuts ? In the past few months I've stopped in there multiple times to pick up a dozen. There's never much left and there's never any raspberry filled, the kind my husband likes, so I leave empty handed. There's always a bunch of employees there standing around not doing much, why ? If they're not making donuts, why are they there? I can understand not wanting to have a bunch of leftovers at the end of the night but if there's one you're always running out of (raspberry) I would think you'd start making a few more of those. This is the store in Clive.
