Got 2 sandwiches and was the only customer there and it took over 10 min. Nothing freaky fast about this location. If I would have paid after the sandwiches I likely would not have tipped, watching through the window there was 0 sense of urgency. Which is fine if your motto isnt "freaky fast"

Ordered 2 subs for delivery online. Nevered received an update on order other than order received. I called 35 minutes after placing order to get an update, was told they had a lot of orders and that our food was already made. The order tracker feature was then removed from my order with no way of tracking it now. Waited another 30 minutes before food arrived. My sub (club lulu) was not good. Pretty sure the bread was not fresh from today, as I could hardly bite through the bread. Very poor quality. Our sodas were watered down, probably from sitting at store for an hour before being delivered. We eat at this establishment often. Used to have quality food and service. Not the case anymore unfortunately. Hoping this gets remedied soon.

I went to this Jimmy John’s at 1429 1st Ave NE #101, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402 specifically because I’ve had consistently excellent experiences at the Westdale Town Center location (2600 Edgewood Rd SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). What I got here was so bad it honestly made me question whether corporate has any meaningful oversight of this store. The menu was noticeably different from the Westdale location. This is a national chain, not an experiment. How is corporate allowing such a disconnect between locations in the same city? I ordered roast beef expecting what I always get at Westdale: freshly sliced in front of you, thick cut, and generously portioned. Instead, this store handed me a sad excuse for a sandwich with literally one paper-thin slice of roast beef that looked and tasted like cheap, pre-packaged, lunch-meat-grade product. They then threw on one single slice of cheese and actually upcharged me for it. One slice of cheese on a nearly empty sandwich for $14 is insulting. I walked out hungrier than when I arrived, which I did not think was possible after spending that much on a sandwich at a supposed premium chain. The total was around $14, for something that looked like it belonged in an elementary school lunchbox, not a national sandwich shop. This experience was awful—not just disappointing, but genuinely offensive from a value and brand perspective. The Westdale Town Center Jimmy John’s proves the brand can do things right. This 1st Ave NE location feels like a low-effort knockoff hiding behind the same logo. I will absolutely avoid this location going forward and will be telling other people in Cedar Rapids to do the same until corporate steps in and fixes it.

Hey guys guess what!? You have cash and want to order? Nope lol can’t break a 100 on a 30 dollar order because they don’t want drivers having that much cash… 70 dollars worth. Stop delivering then 🤦🏻‍♂️ the crazy thing is this chick thought I was crazy for even asking. Cool no money lol
