I called on a Tuesday and placed a personalized cake order for a friend's birthday party. I had a great experience ordering the cake. My husband went to pick it up on Thursday evening and when he arrived they said they don't have an order. I looked back at my call log and called the correct Dairy Queen. They kept telling my husband that they didn't have any custom cake orders, even though I had spent over 5 minutes on the phone with a female ordering it. I was extremely frustrated because then we had to settle for a cake from the cooler that wasn't how I ordered and ended up paying way too much for a cake we didn't want. It was disappointing since we love DQ cakes! We didn't receive any compensation or money off either.
