  Chicken stripe, hamburger. Everything was good. Better hamburgers than McDonald's.

  I am sorry to have to say that I am not happy with this branch of DQ. They are showing SERIOUS lack of cross contamination procedures. The last 3 orders I placed there, i have found other things in my order. 1 day I went to the drive through, ordered 2 med blizzards. 1 royal cheesecake, the other Reese peanut butter cup. After eating half the royal cheesecake, I found 3 pieces of chocolate in my blizzard. A couple days later, I ordered agsin, via door, another medium royal cheesecake blizzard. After eating about a quarter of my blizzard, I found a couple mini m&ms in my blizzard. I just finished my last royal cheesecake blizzard... having ordered the royal cheesecake and the Reese peanut butter again. I ended up with a piece of chocolate and two large chunks of peanut butter. Thank God I do not have a peanut allergy, but, that side, what is up with cleaning the blender between orders? Are your employees not taught about cross contamination? Do they at least clean their hands???

  Love coming here since the re open , it's busy and there is obviously a good reason for it! The blonde girl that works the front has such great customer service, my husband and I were amazed with seeing her bounce back and forth getting our food to us right as we were sitting down, she even checked in with us during our meal and even offered to take our trash for us! Hard to find good workers now a days, she definitely takes pride in her work and will be part of the reason we come back.

  I placed an order online Thursday 2/12 for a cake with Congratulations Jason for pickup Sunday 2/15 time 12:00 I have my confirmation even. Sunday my granddaughter and I got to DQ just after 12:00, I told the young man at the counter I was there to pickup a cake, he quickly disappeared to the back. After 10 minutes or so he still had seen him, so another young man went to check on him. Long story short the order had not been made, after what seems like forever the manager came out said after making the cake she dropped while putting it in the box so she had another staff member making it. When the final product finally came out this is what it looked like. I had no choice but to accept it as it was as I had guests waiting on my return home, I agreed to pay $16 I felt I should have been free.

  2/2/26 5:15 p.m. Walk-in for to-go Food: Delicious! Everything was correct, and they didn’t skimp out on any part of our order. I live in Ames but occasionally drive over to Boone just for the Sauced & Tossed basket lol. It’s my favorite, and the two locations here in Ames don’t offer it. My husband tried the new Backyard Bacon Ranch Signature Stackburger and really liked it. It’s a great combination of flavors. Their ice cream is great (as usual!) and barely started to melt by the time we got home. Service: Absolutely great! The girl (I forgot her name) that took our order and brought our food to us was incredibly nice. She greeted us with a smile and was really patient with us, despite how incredibly busy the drive-thru was. They were fully staffed and doing their best to make sure all of the orders got out in a timely manner; the drive-thru was LONG and kept getting longer. There weren’t too many people inside, thankfully. When she brought our food out to us (we were sitting down waiting), she told us to double-check to make sure our order was correct; it was. All of the other employees that made eye contact also smiled, which was nice :) Atmosphere: The new remodeled interior is really nice! It’s kept really clean as well. The menu is so much easier to read; it’s big, bright LED screens. The interior is simple yet comfortable. It definitely feels more private than before because of the dividers. The noise level was pretty minimal as well, even though they were slammed.
