  My husband and I had dinner at Plus Saporis tonight, it was my second time dining here. This place is fantastic! From the appetizer to entree to dessert everything was delicious and unique. The blueberry kiwi tart was amazing. Our server Jack was fabulous, super helpful and made the evening so enjoyable! If you are looking for something delicious and unique you have to try Plus Saporis! It’s unlike anything else in the QC.

  First rate food. Generous portions. Fair prices. Lower the fried cauliflower pita chips and puff pastry with hummus!

  The food was excellent. We particularly enjoyed the grilled octopus, flaming cheese, & the Dover sole. The place was at 20% capacity on a Friday night. Unfortunately the service was amateurish, young & argumentative because we didn’t want to give her the entire order at once. I could see why the kitchen would want it that way if they were busy, but they weren’t. I told her if we couldn’t order at our leisure, we’d leave & she grudgingly backed off. This is the only high end restaurant that charges a service fee for credit cards in the Quad Cities. The smart ones update the menu to increase the price periodically. The restaurant is a ways out for most people living in the area & the roundabouts plays havoc with the navigation system. Will we go back, probably not. The excellent food isn’t enough to overcome the negatives. Oh, the suggested tip is based upon the entire bill including sales tax & service fee. I hope the chef doesn’t have any ownership in this restaurant, because I don’t see how they’ll make it.

  Incredibly delicious food. It is a pricier option, but the food was fantastic! Servers all really friendly, atmosphere pretty relaxed. We will definitely be back.

  Made reservations for a Saturday evening at 6:30pm. When we arrived the hostess was tending to a patron who was making a to-go order. We were a party of 6 and waited several minutes before we were greeted. We were finally seated and the waiting continued. One of us ordered a drink from the bar which took at least 30 minutes to deliver. Our waitperson said the bar was backed up but the place was only about half full with nobody waiting for a table since we arrived. Once we ordered, our waitperson did tell us it would be about 40 minutes for our food which we appreciated the heads up. When our food came, it looked meh. I say this considering the prices. The food taste was also meh and definitely NOT what we were expecting. Our wait person did do a fantastic job of explaining the menu. Our party of 6 was 2 children under 7. $284 was our bill. I will definitely NOT be visiting this place again. Very disappointed.
