Still learning what the specials are here and years later. We tried their breakfast burritos. Both were good, so were their tots. Wasn't to busy. Service was good and friendly.

- MKMatthew KaneDec 22, 20252.0We parked in the drive up. It took about 10 minutes for someone to answer the call for the order. There were four cars in the Drive-Thru. I got out to use the restroom and as I walked by everybody looked depressed out of their mind inside. When I went to the restroom the door handle and the door were discussingly dirty greasy nasty. The floor was greasy in the entryway to the two restrooms and all four doors were greasy nasty and have not been cleaned in probably 2 to 3 years. So the bathroom was what I expected. Also greasy and dirty. It stunk. The food was mediocre. You could tell that the oil was old. The burger was undercooked and cold. The toppings were old and sloppy. And as expected it did not digest well. I threw the tater tots out the window on the way home because I ate one and they were gross because the oil was old. Probably the worst food I have ever gotten from Sonic and I have been to sonics all over the country. I don't blame the kids that were working there. I blamed the management that I did not see if you're going to hire kids to run your business. At least have someone there old enough to take care of the business and make sure the quality of the food stays good.

- KKKristy KunzeNov 20, 20251.0So I thought I would give sonic another try since moving to Ankeny and it’s a different one. Thought maybe I would have luck with this one but not at all. Very pregnant and all I want was a chili dog, bc it actually sounded appetizing, well got not even half way through and had to stop as I found hair. I felt gross after eating it, made me not want food. These restaurants need to start making employees wear hair nets not ball caps
