  Ordered 3 hours in advance. Order was completely wrong, with almost none of what I wanted and everything I specifically didn't ask for. Bowl wasn't sealed properly so my entire car and pants got messy.

  This place is on brand. We travel a lot and use chipotle all over.

  UPDATE - I was told to contact the customer service folks through the site. I did. I got an automated email saying they'd handle my concern within 48hrs. Two weeks later and hit the "reply" button on that email, and I got a brush off letter. They were busy that day, rushing around, and literally slopping things together. In retrospect, when they were rude to my wife and daughter, we should have just left. But we were hungry and this is what my daughter wanted, so we stuck it out. Never again. I'll never spend a nickel at Chipotle again. There are too many places to buy an overpriced burrito, that I'd go back. Every business makes mistakes and we should demonstrate grace each chance we get. But... When you get brushed aside and marginalized, you learn to spend your hard earned money elsewhere. As long as customers like us don't leave and go elsewhere as we share our experiences, businesses like this that have average product, high prices, and terrible service will continue as if nothing is wrong. Now I just have to figure out how to get the stains out of the upholstery and the stink, after all that sloppy mess leaked out of the bag and all over the car... They got the order wrong too, by the way. What a horrible experience. DO NOT GO THERE. ********* Terrible experience. Total mess dripping out of the bag onto the ground. Staff was rude.

  Update: I received a response to my review. Customer service sent me a link that didn't work. The link didn’t open to anything other than Chipotle's homepage. What a JOKE!!! I do not recommend this Chipotle! I usually like to treat myself to Chipotle once a week. Today (2/4/26) I went to this Chipotle in Ankeny. WHAT A MISTAKE!!! First, the restaurant was trashed. Most all the tables were dirty. There was a big water puddle by the condiment and drink area. Just nasty! There were about 7+ people working behind the counter. None of them seemed to care how bad the restaurant looked. I started to order and was told they ran out of chicken so I would have to wait up-to 5 minutes till it was ready. How do you run out of chicken before the evening rush?? The serving person was very stingy with all the portions. I’ve never had any complaints about the portion sizes at any other Chipotle’s I’ve been to. I always order a chicken bowl at the store on Merle Hay in Des Moines or the one in Waukee, it costs about $9.75. For a veggie bowl here it was $10 and something with NO meat. Do not eat here!! There are much better Chipotle’s around the area. There are also much better places to eat at. Unfortunately, this restaurant gives all the other Chipotle’s a bad reputation and is more expensive. I will never go back to this restaurant again!!!
