  Amazing food. We ordered a delicious garlic shrimp dish, a fish dish, and a burger. All were mouthwatering delicious ( and I dont even like fish! )Amazing service. We had dessert too. Recommend their brownie. One of the best meals I had on my entire trip to Hawaii.

  Friendly greeting, great service. Explained the catch of the day and how they specially prepared. Offered up alternatives for the kids. And checked on food allergens. Well done. And they advertise as the “southernmost restaurant in the USA!”

  Loved it here! We ate here lunch and dinner on the same day. There’s not much else to eat near black sand beach where we’re were staying but we weren’t even mad! Everything was made fresh to order and I loved the passionfruit cheesecake!

  We stopped at this restaurant for dinner on the way from Volcanoes NP back to Kona. The first thing you notice is the art! Gorgeous murals and paintings cover the walls. A pastry case full of delights greets you first, followed shortly by the friendly staff. The whole place is laid back and seems like the sort of place you come to eat with your friends and neighbors every week. The food was filling and no one left hungry. The highlight was meeting one of the owners and his wife (the artist responsible for most of the gorgeous work). They were kind enough to chat with my daughter about her love of art. Such a wonderful and unexpected dinner. We bought several pastries to celebrate my husband's birthday the following day. Will update after we get a chance to try them!

  Wonderful warm welcome in a very family community oriented restaurant. Great food gluten free options for my wife much appreciated. Owners brought food to table and checked in regularly. Kitchen problem with part of the order was acknowledged and meal comped. Highly recommend for warm atmosphere, great food and chance to mix with local people and be treated like family. Be sure to check out the background story while waiting for your food.
