- JSJ SJun 12, 20252.0McDonalds used to stand for cheap fast food. That was their ONLY merit because, except for their crispy fries, nothing else was great tasting. Their burgers are at bottom of the list when compared to others and their chicken items are below bottom (basially in the ground) when it comes to taste, size, texture. Have you tried their "new" chicken strips? After every other chains introduced chicken strips years ago, Mc comes out with this nonsense NOW? More than $1.50 for ridiculously tiny strip and they're proud to introduce it? ONLY decent thing they have now is the local deluxe breakfast platter because it IS still cheap and we love our spam and portugese sausage. If wasn't for that, I would probably only go for .99 coffee and free fries Fridays. Come on Mc, stop being so greedy, go back to offering CHEAP food that's not totally disgusting (although it does approach that often). That is the only reason for your existance. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to be the shining beacon of cheapness. Otherwise, you will self destruct in 5 seconds.
