  We came here specifically for breakfast. The breakfast buffet offers a solid selection of both American and Asian items, and coffee is included with the buffet ($59). Omelets are also included; you fill out a piece of paper and give your order to your server and it’s brought directly to your table. I was still quite full from dinner at Ferraro the night before, so I ordered the avocado toast instead. It came with two large slices of bread topped with two eggs—hearty, filling, and plenty of avocado. Coffee ordered separately was about $9. Since this was our first breakfast at the Four Seasons, I was pleasantly surprised when the DUO assistant manager stopped by our table to wish us a Happy Anniversary and thank us for coming. It was a thoughtful and genuinely welcoming gesture.

  Let's just say they don't cater to the local people that actually born and raised here the food is over sold by the tourist because I've gotten a better tomahawk steak or prime rib at way cheaper places truffle Mac and cheese there was no truffles just capelini pasta and garlic who puts that much garlic in there Mac and cheese not me for sure they need to go back to there milk bread because that onion poi rolls ain't cutting it the crab cakes ain't got much crab in it but a little spec of crab mostly breading the pork belly came with 2pcs and one was strictly just a big piece of fat the mashed potatoes was cold and not even seasoned the milk bread is super dense not even a little fluffy for what we paid versus what was received nope not worth going back again our waiter was in a rush to push us out of there barely paid attention to us and once we got our food it's like we never existed his co-worker paid more attention to us and made us feel like we belonged more than he ever attempted to do yeah we brown skin Hawaiian couple we dress comfortable but not like we just got off the beach but to be treated the way we was is super un-exceptional he took forever to bring us our check kept saying I'll charge the card but I'm legally blind and my wife is trying to figure out the bill because where not staying at the hotel we literally just went for our anniversary dinner let's just say the hostess to the co-worker made us feel more welcome than the manager and our own waiter it's outside seating there's no AC thank God it was a nice breezy evening but from our personal experience no thank you we will gladly take our money else where my tomahawk steak most of it and I requested medium rare most of it was still raw which I took home to cook it again it's so over priced for what they charge I wish I would've known because I wouldn't have wasted my money on a sub par food i don't know what the hype or hoopla is about but I can promise you this for what we paid we could've got a way better experience and way better food thank you but no thank you have a nice day duo steak and seafood do better please think about this next time treat everyone like how you treat the tourists because yes our skin colors and outfits might be different but at the end of the day we all die some buried some burned treat everyone like how you'd like to be treated

  Fantastic experience. The food and drink was outstanding. The service (server was Timmy) was friendly and attentive. Prices were reasonable for a steakhouse in Hawaii. Great location nearby the beach. Would definitely revisit again!

  We had reservations for Christmas dinner and decided to have a drink at the four seasons lobby bar. Duo called 15 minutes before our reservation to tell us that they had to cancel our reservation. They could have cancelled the night before. We ended up getting a bite at the lobby bar which was just ok for the crazy prices. Oh well live and learn.

  We had a very pleasant experience at Duo. The hostess sat us quickly at a comfortable table outside, and we quickly approached by our server. We had brought drinks from the upstairs lounge, so she explained the nightly fish specials and took our appetizer order - king crab and oysters. They arrived promptly - and like all of the subsequent dishes were plated beautifully. The oysters were fresh with a tasty mignonette. The king crab tasted a bit past its prime unfortunately - I suspect due to its recent rarity, and disappearance from stores. I ate it, and didn't complain, but was a bit disappointed. For our second course we had the lobster curry from the appetizer menu and a Caesar salad. The lobster was loved, tasting of basil and lime. The salad was slightly overdressed, but the dressing was delicious. It's several large dressed leaves on a bed of shredded romaine making it a bit awkward to eat, but overall good. For our mains were ordered the sea bass in a ginger broth and the NY strip with bearnaise. The fish was a nice portion size and perfectly prepared. The steak was cooked to the requested medium, and came with a healthy amount of char from the broiler. The bearnaise was the correct creamy consistency, if a bit light on tarragon, shallot and vinegar. I prefer robust bearnaise, so perhaps just personal taste there. We ordered the parmesan fries, sans truffle, as our side, and they were a hit. We will be back despite the drive. The highly proficient smooth service and luxurious atmosphere are fantastic. Valet parking is free for restaurant patrons as well.
