The tuna tartare was served with cold lightly toasted smashed wonder bread triangles and they say that’s the dish that put Mina on the map? Horribly overpriced hotel food.

Overall: Meh. Location is great. Can't complain about the service but can't complain gets you 4 stars. Service was not extraordinary. Also underwhelming was the food. I wouldn't say it was bad, but it certainly did not live up the price in terms of flavors or reputation. I ordered Opakapaka. It was good because that fish is tasty but I still had to order salt and pepper because the preparation had no real flavor. Again, not a terrible experience but we paid on the order of $500 for 3 people. We had starters, etc. Nothing was really outstanding. I could have gotten some poke from Safeway and had the same experience sitting on the beach. Maybe we caught them on a bad day.

Arrived at our 5 p.m. dinner reservation and told "thanks for checking in please stand over there and we will call you" when about a quarter of the restaurant is full. Waited 10 minutes to be seated. Dumb. This is an outdoor restaurant so if the wind is blowing, you should avoid. Also, you should expect that your food is going to be inundated with gnats as they will descend on your food with every course. You will find that the mash potatoes are of particular delight for the gnats.
The wine list is ridiculously overpriced with one or two bottles under $100. My pork chop was overcooked. My 115 lbs. wife had some fish dish (plus we split a salad and a appetizer) and came back to our condo and promptly ate a bowl of pasta.
$310 before tip for two people. The restaurant caters to the Four Seasons visitors who don't want to leave the premises so gouging is just part of the deal. Too pretentious for not being very good.
Definitely not worth the money.
