As you can imagine, the 'Ōlelo Room in Disney's Aulani is quite expensive. With that out of the way...the food was phenomenal. I had an Ube martini and steak bites that may have been the best steak I've ever had. We also got a sushi roll to share and it was so fresh and full of flavor. The service was great and made even better when our waiter got on stage and danced a hula. It was all so lovely that we went back a second time just for the steak bites...and had the macadamia old fashioned-definitely not my favorite- much too sweet for my liking. Take the time to look around at the decor- 'Ōlelo means language and all around the room are people, animals, characters, etc and how to say them in Hawaiian. It's really creative.

The sushi in this place is great. Service was a little slow and they never refilled the water glass . Atmosphere at night is okay, but they need better lighting. Even though there was a light at the table it wasn’t enough light to see the menu or in my case to see the food I was eating. Live music is a nice touch.

Came here for the first time with my friends. Everyone knows and loves Leonard's Malasadas, but my friends swear by the Olelo's Malasadas being either just as delicious or even better whaaaaaat. Anyways, we order about 10 malasadas. They're definitely larger than Leonards. In fact, they look like the buns used for the McDonald's hamburgers. Anyways, it is very delicious as well and even more so when it's warm. We basically smashed most of the box within minutes lol. Overall, definitely something to grab while you're here. I probably wouldn't drive all the way here to pick it up, but l'd say it's delicious in its own way so I can't really compare the 02 malasada shops, but at least one doesn't have a crazy long line and another has the beautiful surroundings of Disney characters. The staff were fast and friendly. Parking is located in their paid parking garage, but don't forget to validate your ticket. Lots of tables in and around the Aulani Hotel. If you're not a guest of the hotel, I believe you're not allowed outside so be mindful of that.

Sadly as someone that eats a lot of sushi, I would not be able to recommend this place to anyone. My wife and I had dinner here and ordered maguro nigiri, torched hamachi nigiri, unagi nigiri, sake nigiri and a Godzilla roll. It should be noted that maguro here is ahi tuna (yellow fin tuna), and not blue fin. I didn’t find it very good as nigiri, might be good as poke. The torched hamachi also had a mayonnaise sauce on it that was not appetizing. The salmon, unagi and roll were decent but at $15 dollars per nigiri order I would go to an authentic place in Waipahu, Kapolei or even Honolulu so you don’t feel like you wasted money. There is a ton of better sushi in the area. The atmosphere was great, they had a live band and the property is amazing. The drinks were good, but our server only stopped by our table once when the place was fairly empty. Overall we were not big fans and would not return for food, maybe drinks. You do not have to be a hotel guest to dine here either, anyone is welcome. Definitely has a fancy vibe.

We had an unexpected dinner here as our luau down the street was cancelled last minute. I'm so happy to have had the chance! No reservations here, so we got in line at like 4:45 for the opening at 5. We were second seated and ordered almost every small plate. Loved the gratin dish and bang bang fries most of all! One of our guests got the sushi and enjoyed it immensely. The service was absolutely top notch, and it's such a cool little place! Kids welcome, but if poor weather you of course will be seated inside with all high tops/bar area. We had a great time!
