Locals were right, food trucks are the way to eat around the island. It's the opposite here in Texas. People fear food trucks for lack of freshness and quality.
We enjoyed everything we tried here. Taro burger was great. Very filling. Tasty and vegan.
Would recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Outstanding — A Must-Try Island Experience!
The Taro Hut food truck is hands down a hidden gem that captures the true taste of the islands in every bite. The Palusami Bowl is pure perfection — rich, creamy coconut flavor blended beautifully with the soft, savory taro. Each bite feels like comfort food elevated to gourmet status. It’s hearty, flavorful, and full of that authentic island warmth you can’t find anywhere else.
And don’t even get me started on the Taro Fries! They’re cooked to crispy perfection — golden on the outside, tender on the inside, and seasoned with just the right touch of salt. Dip them into their house fry sauce, and you’ll be hooked instantly.
From the friendly service to the unforgettable flavors, the Taro Hut delivers an experience that’s both comforting and crave-worthy. If you see this truck — stop immediately. Your taste buds will thank you!

Best burger on the island. And we raise our own beef..
My wife had the "Bomb bacon burger" and I had "Da Fun Guy" burger. 2 beef patties, cheese, mushrooms, and grilled onions. All on homemade Taro buns. I also recommend the Taro fries. We really enjoyed them. Our chef was very enjoyed and pleasant. We will go back again.
