  The food was good. The service was great but the only thing that really was an issue was how cold it was. It felt like the AC was on high the whole time and it was really cold

  A hidden gem that feels like you’ve stumbled onto a neighborhood secret. Atmosphere: chill music, small but not crowded. It has that rare neighborhood spot energy where the details are dialed in. The menu is unique and you want to try everything! We had the truffle fries, crab cakes, chimichurri steak crostini’s, arugula feta salad, ribs, pork and chicken... and my old fashioned came smoky and with bacon! Every dish we tried was packed with flavor, and clearly made with pride. The portions were generous. We couldn’t finish several and took leftovers! Service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and genuinely hospitable without being overbearing. You can tell they take enjoy what they do. Kaimuki is lucky to have the Surfing Pig. We will be back!

  The loco moco was good but our drinks took 30 minutes to come out. Also our server was clearly drunk and couldn’t come up with a better description for each dish than “oh that’s really good”

  Do it! Eat here ! The absolute best food! We had Pork loin and mashed potatoes and burger and truffle fries. Plus for dessert dark chocolate brownie and orange ice cream. AMAZING!!!! They also have a speak easy, the staff are great and very kind. Great service wonderful food!!!

  I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE SURFING PIG! I wish I could give them more than 5-stars…it was sooo good + the service was off the charts. The food was unbelievable. They brought us some bbq pork hors d’oeuvres 10/10! My wife got the smoked chicken (best meal we had the entire time in Hawaii!) it was so juicy and delish. I ordered the Volcano Burger. When my burger came back too rare for me (i ordered it medium well), the owner came and apologized and insisted they cover the cost. And then the chef cooked me another meal and came out and apologized for his mistake. They were so great!!! Don’t miss this place!
