  Been wanting to try for a while. Finally went today, ate outside. Food and drinks were great! Birds are a little bit of a nuisance. Parking validation in their own parking lot didn't register. Was supposed to cover 4 hrs for $6. Ended up being $30 charge for 3 hrs.

  Food was great—poke, smash burger, salad, and drinks were all on point, and service was excellent. Dessert took about 20 minutes, so we ordered another round while waiting. The experience ended on a bad note with parking validation. The hostess was out of stickers and checked with the manager—his expression alone made it clear he was annoyed we even asked. He refused to sign the ticket, which felt unprofessional after we’d spent a couple hundred dollars. Shoutout to the parking attendants, who were kind, laughed at the manager, and discounted our parking. Unfortunately, we won’t be back.

  Potential is the word that comes to mind but inconsistency is more accurate. We stayed for a week at the Ilikai and chose to dine at the Menehune for its convenience. First night we were there my burger was fantastic, the server offered the option of a salad instead of fries, I chose the salad. Everything was excellent. Went back two nights later because I had such a good experience the first time and ordered the exact same thing. Burger arrived with the most pathetic side salad (very small amount of lettuce and barely any dressing, no wonton strips) and no pickle even though the menu description included a pickle. Burger came out very greasy this time. Decided a few nights later after a long day at the beach to give it one last try. I opted for the fish and chips which came out overcooked and dry. My husband had the prime rib and it was also a waste of money. For the prices they charge I can’t recommend this place. I don’t know who is in charge of expo or cooking, but they need to do a better job. Servers were always great and the atmosphere was welcoming.

  Elijah & Cameron are great bartenders…friendly and make you feel like a regular! Good food and an even better happy hour. Live entertainment is definitely a bonus!

  What an amazing restaurant and bar, the perfect place to enjoy a nice cold beer or glass of wine and beautiful sunsets or fireworks (every Friday). The service was friendly and we felt very welcome. Now to the menu. It has something for everyone and what we tried on our visits were delicious, hot and generous! My favorite were the ribs (sorry forgot to take a picture) the fish and chips were really fresh and hit the spot perfectly! If you're in the area make sure you drop by you won't regret it.
