  I come here almost daily for my groceries. Prices are a bit higher then other places but its within walking distance to my place. I wish the prices were like everyone else. I would say to take the trip to find a better price.

  If i could go lower than a 1 start review i absolutely 100% would, i placed a very expensive order ahead of time on doordash the store had processed my order they then took my money and had allowed my dasher to pick up said item yet they were out of stock. This is completely unacceptable and deemed as false advertising, to make matters even worse they couldn’t properly sell my substitute item which was substantially way less expensive and valuable than the original so they had made the dasher pay out of pocket. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST SAFEWAY EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE OF DEALING WITH!!!

  A lot of parking, they have just about everything here. They just need to lower their prices as they are pricey.

  This .morning, I shopped at Pali Safeway and an incident happened before I got there where someone ran out of the store and just left from the self-check-out. I rated 4 stars only because the security guard and another employee was so helpful in retrieving a shopping cart for me. As there were none available. Here comes a Safeway employee yelling about $4 was taken and she yelled, "was that you?" WTH! I felt offended she would call me a thief. The manager tried to downplay it by saying that's how she talks and she (the manager) was there and said it was a lady that was at the self-checkout that ran off out of the store (who cares). Then why were they alerting the security guard if nothing was taken? It doesn't matter how it happened. It matters how customers are treated. The manager said the employee wasn't trying to accuse me. Bad customer service. Even if Pali is in a bad district to be in but don't accuse if you don't know the facts. Check your cameras! I rate 0 stars for management and the employee she protected.

  Horrible establishment. We were rushing to buy something at night when my friend needed to use the restroom so bad, but security said it was already past 8, so they couldn’t let her use it anymore. They told us to use the restroom at Zippy’s near the store, but at the time, Zippy’s restroom was out of order. We went back to safeway to try our luck, but the manager straight up and rudely said no without even showing any sympathy. I don’t understand why customers can’t use the restroom if the store is open until 12.
