  I was fortunate enough to have dinner at the bar on a week night where I received what felt like a private experience. My bartender, Elijah, made me one of the best Old Fashioned’s I’ve had in years. He engaged with me in some great conversation, which surprisingly topped the amazing sunset views and delicious steak pasta dinner. Highly recommend. That shit was fire.

  The number of empty tables in a busy hotel on a world-famous, high-traffic beach should have been a warning—but I gave it a try anyway. The location is great, right next to the beach, but the food didn’t match the setting. The fish and chips tasted greasy, chevy, and fried in old oil, and clearly frozen. Definitely disappointing given the prime location. I stopped in here earlier to get a Mai Tai cocktail. When they handed me the glass the drink was a brown tone of color garnished with a cherry, not at all what I would call Tropical

  The lilikoi (passion fruit) cocktail was so delicious, I had to order two! The service was amazing and the staff is pretty kind overall. You can sit out on the patio and watch the football games.

  Ordered breakfast. Meat, potatoes and eggs all appeared to be cooked off well in advance and served up at room temperature. Ordered lunch. BarBQ sandwich was over cooked and dry. Ordered without cheese but there were bits of cheese still on it after they unsuccessfully tried to correct their mistake by picking off most of the cheese. Portions are also much smaller than Cinnamon’s used to be at higher prices. So after a second chance, there will not be a third for us.

  I brought a networking group here for our Christmas party, and everything went so smooth! We ordered the buffet and reserved the back patio. We ended up moving inside due to rain but Morgan (the GM) was super communicative and let me know the day before that plans would need to change. Parker was our server and he made sure everyone had their own drink tabs and he kept everything organized and flowing which can get difficult being the only server for such a large group (There was almost 30 of us). The only hiccup was that we ran out food but we also had extras who hadn't RSVP'd so that was on us. They turned around and immediately fired up some more Kalbi and shrimp for us.
