    We ordered Domino’s online on New Year’s Eve. The estimated completion time was around 9:04 PM, and in the delivery instructions we stated “leave at the door.” When we went outside around 10:00 PM because the order still hadn’t been received, we found two pizza boxes sitting directly on the ground outside our door. No one knocked. No one rang the doorbell. When we opened the boxes, there was a cockroach inside, making the food completely inedible. We immediately contacted the store to resolve the issue. We spoke with an employee named Tyre, who was extremely unprofessional. Instead of apologizing or attempting to resolve the situation, he was argumentative, dismissive, and repeatedly interrupted us. He put us on hold unnecessarily, claimed he would call back (which he didn’t), and even hung up during questioning. We recorded approximately 14 minutes of him arguing with us, which is unacceptable customer service. When we explained that even with “leave at the door” instructions, the driver should still knock or ring the doorbell, Tyre responded by saying we should have been “constantly checking the app.” Tyre also stated that he didn’t understand why we weren’t “constantly checking the app,” implying that because the order was placed on a phone, we should be on our phones at all times. A customer should not have to continuously monitor their phone to ensure food was delivered properly, especially when no attempt was made to knock or ring the doorbell. It was New Year’s Eve, people are busy and not glued to their phones. Regardless, leaving food on the ground without any notification is unacceptable. Despite the fact that the pizza was contaminated and unsafe to eat, Tyre initially stated that a refund could not be offered. After about 14 minutes, the manager Nick came on the phone. He was apologetic, professional, and immediately resolved the issue by canceling the order and issuing a refund, which should have happened from the beginning. This experience was frustrating and disappointing. Food safety issues should never be debated, and customers should never be argued with for trying to resolve a legitimate concern. Management handled the situation appropriately once involved, but the initial interaction was completely unacceptable.

    I just ordered stuff Chesee bread and I specifically asked them to cut it, but they didn't! So I only tipped the driver $1. Normally I would have tipped $5. I hope this will be a lesson for the next order and if you bring it again without cutting it, I won't tip you.

    *Let me just say that The tall African American guy with dreds that I see working on them pizzas Everytime I go in, He is always smiling & always acknowledges everyone that goes in even if someone else is giving me my order. His whole vibe is just a Joy to see. Next time I will catch his name. **Also I wanted to write a separate review bcuz it was yesterday on a Thursday night… DELIVERY DRIVER BOB WAS SO NICE & He had the perfect amount of Conversation, not too much & not a lil,,, He handed my husband his pizza and wings with care and my husband said that Bob had a big smile on his face and he wished us happy holidays & said thank u for ordering with the company. It is so nice to see when people really like their jobs. LOTS OF LOVE BOB!!! HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO THE ENTIRE TEAM!
