  At the entrance, it doesn't say anywhere that you have to wait to be invited to a table. After 3-5 minutes of checking the menu, we sat down at a table outside. Our attention was drawn by the waiter to the fact that we had to wait (there were dozens of free tables). The table was sticky, dirt on the floor, dirty in the toilet. The cutlery was dirty and the glasses very dirty. The plastic cup with dessert was really dirty and the dessert is not as it looks in the picture. The food was okay but the price was too high. The cocktail was okay. Overall it was a disappointing experience

  Had a 90th Birthday celebration for Mum, Sunday. Warm welcome by Casey, front of house on arrival to Hull, Ask Italian-restaurant at the warehouse. We had time to dress the booked table, before all arrived and we were not rushed. In turn, lovely selection of food from sides, starters and mains, cooked to perfection, with attention to detail on all ingredients and presentation. Chefs are an asset to Ask along, with all the hospitality team on the floor. There was not a long wait with meals, all brought out in a timely manner, thus enabling all of us to eat together as a family. Furthermore, we provided a cake and staff kindly, brought out joining in the singing of 'happy birthday' to Mum! Thank you to all for making Mums 90th special and as nothing was a problem to all staff, and with a smile. Also, outside seating if you wanted to embrace the sun and surroundings. Lovely atmosphere in and out of the restaurant and setting. Beautiful day to remember and keep in our memories for years to come !

  Received excellent customer service from Eszter of Ask Italian Hull. She is cheerful, friendly, nice manner, and made our meal here unforgettable. Eszter, you are amazing!

  Are here on a visit to Hull one cold Wednesday afternoon in May. Service was good but as we were the only people in I wouldn’t have expected anything else. Our server was friendly and my husbands request for less chilli in his chosen dish was honoured. My tagliatelle ragù was lovely and well flavoured, the courgette fries with the garlic dip lovely too. Coffee was hot and like rocket fuel. Let down by the very quiet atmosphere despite some nice music on, no fault of the restaurant, it was a freezing afternoon and the town was fairly quiet. We would return but can’t see us being in Hull again.

  Well, from the start, the staff were helpful... we are a family of picky eaters and any question or preference on how rhe food can by given to us they provided wirh a friendly smile and respectful act. They continued this approach of quality and friendly customer service all night. Would recommend because of this and that the food was delicious!... of good quality, and promptly prepared and plenty of it! Satisfied customers and we will be returning soon.
