The food was excellent. Genuinely. No complaints whatsoever about the quality, flavour, service, atmosphere, or general ramen-based experience. However, I am writing this review because there is a matter of considerable importance that I feel cannot simply be allowed to disappear quietly into the night. I ordered the pork ramen. It arrived beautifully presented, steaming away, looking exactly like the sort of bowl of food that makes you briefly reconsider every mediocre lunch you've ever eaten. And there, nestled amongst it all, was half a boiled egg. Half. Naturally, this raises a question. Where is the other half? I have thought about this considerably more than any reasonable person should. Somewhere, at some point in the Wagamama supply chain, there existed a complete egg. A proud, structurally intact, approximately egg-shaped egg. It had a top. It had a bottom. It had ambitions. Then somebody boiled it. Somebody peeled it. And then, in an act that I can only describe as calculated, somebody took a knife and divided that egg into two equal hemispheres. One half was entrusted to me. But what became of its sibling? Was it placed lovingly onto another customer's ramen? If so, who is this person? Why have we been separated? Are we unknowingly sharing custody of an egg? Is there another diner somewhere in Britain staring down at their own half-egg, experiencing the same profound sense that something is missing? Or... and I hesitate even to suggest this.... is there a container somewhere in the kitchen containing hundreds of surplus egg halves? I paid for ramen. I received excellent ramen. But the presence of precisely 50% of an egg has created an entirely new problem that would not have existed had there simply been no egg at all. You cannot show a man half an egg and expect him not to wonder about the rest of it. I don't want compensation. I don't want an apology. I don't even necessarily want another egg. I want my other half. I want the egg reunited. I want to look down into my ramen and see one complete boiled egg sitting there, both halves together, exactly as nature... and approximately nine minutes in boiling water... intended. Until then, I can only award the meal extremely highly while reserving a small but significant portion of my emotional wellbeing for the unresolved whereabouts of the missing 50%. Fantastic food. Wonderful ramen. Would absolutely return. But Wagamama, if you're reading this: Where is the rest of my egg?

Amazing seafood raman noodles I had, great taste and plenty of salmon, prawns and veg. Rest of us had other raman noodles, my sister had vegetarian dish with added tofu. All fresh, clean, hot food. Great service too.

Gyoza burned, squid rock hard, chicken katsu dry, they also forgot my extra chicken I ordered (all things considered might be a good thing), the ramen had barely any broth. 0/10 the cook needs to rethink his career choices I would be worried letting him feed my dog

Just received on Uber eats. Gyoza is black on the bottom and inedible. Chicken on katsu really dry and just thrown in with no care at all. Squid cold and overcooked. Brisket ramen bland. One of the worst meals I’ve had in a very long time chef is clearly very lazy

Not the Wagamama I remember, maybe I am spoiled by living in Japan now but I do think it’s gotten a lot worse than when I was last in the UK. Definitely not authentic but sometimes you adapt to local tastes, although our mixed party of British and Japanese all had the same reaction. It was never the most authentic food but it was closeish so whilst visiting the UK the kids wanted a taste of home. The yakisoba was inedible - I have never heard my youngest call something disgusting before but she wouldn’t eat a second bite. Her older sister had a similar reaction and I don’t think this is to appeal to British tastes - real yakisoba tends to be very kid friendly, it’s usually a sweeter flavour that kids take to - this was just bland and soggy and was very stingy on meat etc - which is impressive as you don’t expect a lot. Ramen wasn’t bad but wasn’t recognisable Ramen, Yaki Udon was very short on sauce relying on dry flavouring which just isn’t a good match. If I had to hazard a guess the flavours seemed like they were opting to use cheaper ingredients which is weird because we were opting for traditional staples; cheap to produce dishes. Waiter seemed new but was polite, no complaints about the service. Just very disappointed by the food.
