  Genuinely has become so terrible since their younger staff moved away last year. Freezers have been broken for months so there's barely any meal deals or cheese/diary products, stuff is never in stock, there's always massive carts blocking whole aisles with no way to even squeeze past them. Self-service has all but replaced all till interactions and staff think that means there's never a need to come over to the front of the store. Customers can be stood over 10 minutes with both self-service tills locked while staff are restocking or gossiping in another aisle or the backroom (which we can see you doing btw when the door is permanently left open, which I know is against rules to leave open). I've even seen customers get bored of waiting and have come and yelled at staff to get some service because they're so upset, which is impressive for England. One older female staff member saw me there waiting for id approval, but didn't want to punch in her till door access code, and she was too short to reach over the till to the screen - so she simply left me there until her boss came out and saw the massive queue, only THEN she could be bothered to help. This doesn't change even when I see older women and disabled people with canes waiting for help. I've seen people leave their shopping at the till and simply walk out after waiting too long. It feels like the staff simply cannot be bothered until the older gentleman who is clearly the manager is in watching them.
