  Staff who ignore that you, you at the tills for ages while they sat looking at their phones and computer around the corner. All self service counters locked with customers who have tried to use them and have given up. Goodramgate tesco is much better

  Excellent store, plenty of choice for an express. Visited most day during our stay in Bootham.

  I stopped by this branch for a quick buy on Sunday, and luckily it closes at midnight. This allowed me to grab some groceries for the night quickly. The shelves were still fully stocked, and the interior was clean and compact, making it convenient for late-night shopping when other convenience stores were closed.

  This store hates vegetarians! This is the closest store to the University, which has a large vegetarian population. The meal deal selection is absolutely atrocious for us! There is about 20 different chicken flavours which generally remain untouched and probably all taste the same. Meanwhile any vegetarian options beyond the cheese and tomato pasta, 2 sandwiches and a Vegetable sushi are usually taken by people who don't fancy chicken that day... And don't even get started with the Vegan options. Do better guys.
