  We have shopped here quite often. Staff are usually helpful and courteous. Today the music was very loud (about twice the normal volume). It was difficult to concentrate so I politely asked a staff member if they could turn it down. She disappeared into the back and returned saying it would be “in a minute”, and that quiet shopping times were on a Wednesday…….. Nothing happened so I went to leave the shop, had second thoughts and asked to speak to the manager- James. He appeared but the music was still at the same loud pitch (he could easily have turned it down before he came out of the back room). We had a conversation about the volume and he still wouldn’t alter his attitude. Clearly the customer does not matter. The 2 stars are for the store itself. I went and shopped at M&S - what a breath of fresh air that was!

  Closing at 9.55pm because you want to get out earlier is an inconvenience to your customers, observing the 2 staff clearly celebrating because they’d locked the doors 5 minutes early was frustrating to say the least.
