  Unfortunately, our recent experiences at this Tesco store have been quite uncomfortable. We would like to raise a concern about a member of staff who is an Asian male and is often working around the cleaning area and checkout section. On several occasions, this member of staff has made us feel uneasy by repeatedly coming very close behind us while we are shopping. For example, while we were browsing products, he pushed the mop directly behind us despite there appearing to be other ways to move around the store. On other occasions, he has pushed a trolley closely behind us as we were walking around, which made us feel as though we were being followed and that we were in the way. The same thing has happened when we are checking out, with him restocking bags immediately beside us. We understand that staff need to carry out their duties, but the repeated nature of this behaviour has made us feel uncomfortable and like we cannot simply shop in peace. There has also been no acknowledgement or apology when customers are inconvenienced, and the way he sometimes speaks loudly while working does not create a very professional atmosphere. We want to highlight that this is not the experience we have with other members of staff, who are always polite, respectful, and considerate of customers while carrying out their work. We hope the management team can look into this matter and consider whether additional customer service or professional conduct training would be helpful. Customers should feel comfortable and respected when shopping.

  Pillock behind the counter just shouts down the isles at nothing and makes fun of people. Such a weird guy idk his name. I don’t know how he’s still working there I hate going in. Other than that quite convenient.

  Embarrassing 'security'. I doubt his abilities to stop someone when an actual thug comes in.

  Great for convenience, always a long queue, and staff don't jump on tills, even when there's a long queue!
