Alyana was the first to greet us outside of the restaurant and was very welcoming, friendly, gracious and complementary. Had it not been for her approach, which we did not receive anywhere else, we would not have tried the restaurant. Then Darek our waiter was a lovely very funny and warm guy. His interpersonal skills were excellent. We will definitely be.back on our next trip. Our breakfast was extremely delicious and very satisfying. We had mushrooms on sour dough bread, toasted, scrambled.eggs, veggie sausage, beans and crushed avocado with a mint and green tea and freshly sqeezed apple juice. Delicious and very filling. Compliments to the kitchen staff.

We were looking around the terminal for somewhere to get breakfast just after 11am, by this time a lot of other restaurants had stopped serving breakfasts. A lovely lady greeted us outside the restaurant and allowed us to look over the menu. We were quickly seated. The atmosphere was pleasant, clean and the temperature comfortable.
Our server Olga was delightful, she took out food order and chatted to us about where we were going.
Our food arrived quickly and was piping hot, very tasty and I feel it was good value as the portion sizes were very big.
Would definitely recommend this restaurant when waiting on Gatwick airport.
On Thursday 27th August 2026 we visited Wondertree Restaurant south terminal at Gatwick where we were served by lovely Sherralee who was very friendly, fast and efficient with her service, I have to say how lovely it was of Sherralee to spend a couple of minutes just chatting with us and not just making us feel as though we were just another customer but making us feel special as I am sure does to every one she serves.
We certainly hope that next time we visit your restaurant we will be served and waited on by her because she really does give service with a smile, we are looking forward to being served by her in the near future. You should be so proud of her as she is a real asset to your team and restaurant. 🙂
Food was lovely
Our order number was 6098 on order pad 6849.
I tried to scan our receipt but it would not work so had to do it this way.
Kind Regards

Very disappointing experience at Wondertree Restaurant at Gatwick Airport. I found a large piece of a food label/sticker inside my avocado toast, which is completely unacceptable. The staff were not friendly or helpful, it took the manager forever to come over, and they even tried to stop me from taking pictures of what I found in my own food.
Another thing that really bothered me was the design of their tables. They’ve used a colorful map of the world, presumably as a cute travel theme, but Iran name is completely missing from the map, while the surrounding countries are labeled as Iran. As an Iranian, I found that disappointing and strange especially in an international airport where people from all over the world pass through every day.
Between the food safety issue, the way the staff handled it, and the inaccurate world map, this was a very disappointing experience.

I was quite disappointed with my experience at Wondertree at Gatwick Airport.
I ordered the Wondertree Burger, and it arrived at our table only about three minutes after ordering. Unfortunately, the burger itself was cold while the fries were warm, which made it feel as though the burger had been prepared well in advance. It was also very dry and lacked flavour .
The atmosphere itself was nice, but the cleanliness could definitely be improved. We had to pass three empty tables because they still had plates and glasses left on them, despite the restaurant being very quiet with only around three tables dining at the time.
I understand airport restaurants can be busy and operate differently, but for the price and experience I expected much better. Unfortunately, this experience has made me more likely to stick with familiar fast-food options at airports in the future, where at least you have a better idea of the quality and freshness to expect.
