We came here to celebrate our anniversary tonight, we hadn't been here before but after driving past decided to try it, really lovely food and excellent service, wide variety of vegetarian options with excellent value for money, we will be back! Xxx

We had an excellent meal at the Owl. We did the circular walk that starts in the large pub car park beforehand. The food was tasty and the service very good. The pub is large and clean. Wouldn’t hesitate to return. Also good value for money.

What a wonderful pub! It has a lovely, cozy atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food. We enjoyed a pie and a burger, and everything was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. This place is a real gem and well worth a visit. Please support this fantastic local pub and help it continue to thrive during these challenging times for the hospitality industry.

The Owl, listed as "the wise owl" on the sign was very pleasing. We had fish & chips, off the lunch menu which was available with an ale or wine for a very acceptable price. The drinks came quickly with a very cheerful waitress, and the meal a little later. The fish was battered and was positively delicious, the batter being the best I've ever had. The chips were excellent and the accompanyments (mushy peas, tartare sauce, curry sauce?) good. All in all a great experience
