  Food is okay, to be fair, except ice cream machine is sometimes OOO. Don’t use the toilet, or you will regret the visit.

  Man walking in and out of the kitchen, cooking area, food prep with toilet brushes Too and from the toilet, ripped up mucky shirt and looks filthy. I’m sure EHO would like to know about what he’s doing going though the food area without washing hands and with toilet brushes. He also had a companion, younger man who was also is a very dirty T-shirt. Ripped around the collar. Not very hygiene safe.

  I had a really disappointing experience. The bacon in my meal was undercooked and had a jelly-like texture, which was completely off-putting. The chicken also had a strange lump in it, making it feel unsafe to eat. When I raised this with staff, they were unwilling to offer a refund and came across as rude and dismissive. Overall, poor food quality and even worse customer service. I won’t be returning.

  Update 25/4/26: Popped in at lunchtime again and the team provided me with an excellent quality double whopper meal. No pictures this time, but the quality was back to their usual high standard. I have adjusted the scores for this reason. I've been a long time fan of this place. During a busy lunchtime I had my food within 10 minutes, which I thought was pretty reasonable. It probably would have been quicker were it not for the added pressure of home deliveries on the system. My gourmet wellington burger had quite a luxurious flavour, but unfortunately was a bit dry. And I know fries are supposed to be (technically) dry, but these were really dry, as dry as a nuns prayer book left out in the sun. This is not normally the case with BK, so maybe I was just a bit unlucky. I know it's just head office policy, but the positioning of the touchscreen machines leaves little room for waiting, making the whole experience feel just a bit more cold and awkward than the conventional counter ordering of the recent past. I will be back, but hope I don't get another dry one.
