But the female dark skinned staff member I was paying for my meal repeated the cost of my order, £6.25 just for a sandwich, a pack of 2 Belgian buns and an energy drink. Even after I put a £5 note on the desk before getting a £2 coin for the rest of my payment, in the end. I got my change and walked out of the store, wanting to call her a b#tch before leaving. But I respectfully decided against it, That lady didn't even heat up my sandwich so I had to eat it cold. I reported her through email to her boss during the afternoon and if she does that again, I will NEVER go back to this Greggs ever again. For everyone who would read my review, go there and order at your own risk depending on which staff member is your cashier. If you don't go back there after reading my review, I'd gratefully appreciate that decision as it would make zero tension happen between you and the staff. Just be careful there from now on, and if they end up going bankrupt because of their behavior and actions. They rightfully deserve all of it

We ordered lattes, bacon sandwiches and hash browns. Unfortunately, a staff member named Jordan touched the bread of my sandwich directly with his bare hands, without gloves or utensils. When I politely questioned this and asked if it was normal to handle food this way, I was told that he washes his hands frequently. What concerned me even more was seeing him touching his face and his phone and then continuing to handle food. I found this extremely unhygienic and unacceptable, especially when preparing food for customers and children. I hope Greggs takes this complaint seriously and looks into the food hygiene practices at this store. This experience has definitely affected my confidence in buying food from this branch.

Just moments before, he had been using his phone and handling the till, then went straight to touching food with zero hygiene in between. That is not a small mistake — that’s a serious hygiene failure. When I asked to speak to a manager, his response was rude and dismissive saying that he is the shift manager . No apology, no concern, nothing. I left feeling sick to my stomach. If this is what happens in plain sight, it seriously makes you question everything else behind the counter. Avoid this place!!!!!

We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations.
This process remains in place, though we’ve also worked hard to increase the amount of unsold food donated by our shops and we currently support a network of 1,077 local good causes.
In 2022, we redistributed 1,800 tonnes of unsold food through our Outlet shops. A share of the profits from the outlets, totalling £450,000, was then donated back into the communities we serve.
