- RGReece GoughJul 19, 20262.0I haven’t had subway in atleast 5 years. Decided to try one for lunch today. Walked in with 2 people ahead of me in the queue and no one else sitting at midday. It took an absolute age till I got served as they kept dealing with online orders. Drivers coming in and skipping ahead, delaying in person orders. No welcome when served, not even asked what I want. Just stared at. Bread cake from the oven but was sooo dry and hard on the inside, this was definitely not fresh and must have been placed there for sure. The topping on the bread was very sparse, hardly any honey/oat and you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between this and whole grain. Lettuce was huge chunks, which I removed some from the sub as it was just too much in blocks. Wasn’t asked anything at the till, and just charged for the sub. Would have considered and drink and cookie, but just decided to leave it. If this was half the price I’d say it was still too much.

Every time I go in to get some lunch, the person who serves me has AirPods in talking to someone, not paying attention to customers let alone listening to the customers correctly. I find that some staff do not speak clearly enough and just mumble. So not only do they not understand what I want because I feel they aren’t listening but I don’t understand them because they are talking quietly and or mumbling. Today the staff member who served me walked away without giving me my cookie after asking if I wanted one before I payed of which I said yes and said that I will have the only type of cookie that is left in the display case. Then he picks out the completely wrong cookie from the oven thing. I get it mistakes happen but the staff do need to me more aware if they want good reviews and happy customers

I had a 6inch wrap which had hardly any filling it and a bottle of water and it come just over £8….. Absolutely ridiculous considering I could have gone to Wetherspoons had a hot meal and a cold pint and it would’ve worked out cheaper than a crappy wrap.
