They kept going during covid and are continuing to carry on through this heatwave with NO air conditioning. Staff are always friendly and quick on the till. I think it's unfair to blame the store for broken freezers or prices. These are the owners' responsibilities and not down to an individual store. This is a convenience store and we have to pay for convenience.
- VSV SJun 27, 20261.0Extremely poor for the Co-op Poplar Road Wrexham for a number of reasons this week. Please do not use the recent heatwave as an excuse for delivery staff and heat sickness not to deliver goods as the shop is open with staff working there with only half the air con working so well done to those that are keeping the shop going. Apparently no sign of engineers so food is going off/melting yuck and now limited i.e. no fresh bottled water, fresh veg/fruit, ice creams etc. What you can buy as a consequence is rotting. Also can Co-op management explain why goods can be a certain price for a day/week then randomly fluctuate a charge increase of £1-2 for the same product. You are taking advantage of customers and you cannot justify it only for pure greed. Well smarten up as customers will not shop with you if you carry on with your shoddy and expensive service. You have been increasing prices for years so do the honourable thing and PRICE MATCH your competerors FOR ALL PRODUCTS otherwise we will be off to Aldi & Lidl!!!!
