  Done click and collect today what a fiasco whoosh couriers sitting around on food trays directly outside where we have to park for pick up no organisation store manager needs to up his game an absolute disgrace

  Tesco - Hygiene concern with baskets & trolleys I want to raise a serious concern about the cleanliness of shopping baskets and trolleys. Today at Tesco I picked up a basket and the bottom had dirt and grime stuck to the sides, and the handle felt greasy. It actually made me feel sick. I’ve attached a photo. It feels like since COVID ended, basic hygiene has been forgotten. During COVID I was even teaching people how to wash their hands properly — and now baskets that are handled by hundreds of people every day are _never_ being washed. As a parent, I’m worrying about what bacteria are being transferred onto my shopping, and then into my home to my children. This would be so easy to fix. If Tesco and other shops provided disinfectant wipes next to baskets and trolleys, I would happily clean them before use and not worry about what I’m bringing home. Please start cleaning baskets regularly or provide wipes. Hygiene should never be an afterthought.

  The choice of some products has reduced the service is geared up to self-service and not customer service the queues are get longer and so called team leader s just stand around looking busy
