  Ordered a delivery at 8pm delivery slot was between 10pm and 11pm got a text 10.55pm to say delayed 1.25am still not delivered and no further communication from them only ordered as child was in bed and didn't realise I had no milk and my bread had gone off

  Never had a problem with this store or the staff until the introduction of the self service checkout. A staff member this morning was extremely abrupt with me telling me to use the self service when I asked if a staff member could serve me. I explained I don’t use self service and she reluctantly served me. Upon leaving I heard her talking on her headset sniggering about how I should have used the self service. This is unacceptable, this person knows nothing about me or my reasons for not using them and had I been elderly I’m sure sniggering at someone not wanting to use self service wouldn’t be seen as acceptable. Very disappointed.

  We shop here all the time. The staff are the best with excellent customer service. They have everything you need in store. Items are reasonably priced. You don't get customer like this anywhere else. The only issue are the delivery drivers which are not run by the co-op. I think they're either use Deliveroo or Just-eat which are well known to have terrible delivery drivers and never provide a good service. Higher management from the Co-op needs to change this and use reliable drivers. It's not fair on your hard working store workers who have enough to do, get given more work because of crap delivery drivers. I had an issue this morning with my delivery because of these external companies. The driver didn't speak English and was angry when questioned about my delivery. I place an order weekly, I know how many bags I should receive. I should of had 4, the driver gave me 2. He didn't care and proudly shown this in his attitude. I walked to the store and spoke with Colette. I explained my frustrations and told her how angry I was. She investigated immediately. Colette explained that she packed the items and remembered the order. We found out that the delivery driver didn't follow basic instructions and take all bags as 2 where still there. Judging by his attitude on delivery and lack of English skills that this is the truth and just-eat/deliveroo need to get their act together regarding drivers. Colette resolved the situation quickly and made sure another driver delivered the goods. She apologised on behalf of the drivers when she doesn't have to when it should be just-eat and deliveroo drivers that should be apologising. I even got an extra item in my bag which really put a smile on my face. Like I said, you don't get customer service like this anywhere else and I stick by that. Thank you Colette and team! Will see you again 😊
