  Coop Lower Wick is a great example of slow and gradual decline. Prices have constantly increased while quality has consistently decreased. Decline of fresh produce to be replaced by almost entirely poor quality processed foods and brands. Over charging anyone without a so called ‘Coop Card’, pushed as a way to save, when in reality is a way to obtain peoples personal data incognito, we see you. they have added self checkouts so any service is now on the way out and the staff being cut in the name of more profit. If Coop want to be part of this community they should be part of it or just leave and let someone else run a local store as part of the community, not impose their poor standards and service on people who deserve better. The staff and community deserve better and honestly I wish they would leave and let someone else run a shop which is actually part of the community instead of imposing themselves upon us. What a mess.

  Went as usual to favourite shop at 7.00am disaster tills have been replaced by self-scanning ones, in a tiny space 3! No room to place your bag takes longer and queues were forming. What a massive backwards step, no good for elderly people.!!! Hate it

  Stays open until 10pm every night of the week which is great when other supermarkets close at 4 or 5pm on a Sunday. Good selection of food. Often cheap items towards end of day. Some parking available.

  Always a queue in here, young lad with dark hair on the till is very friendly, I always feel sorry for him. It’s almost like he isn’t allowed to ask for help on the till. Shop used to be lovely and welcoming sadly I don’t feel that is the case anymore. Never get a hello when you walk in even though you’re a regular and been shopping here before it was a Co op. Nearly mowed down outside because of lazy people and food couriers parking by the cash point. They should never have introduced deliveroo/just eat here it’s clearly more of a priority for the staff to do then serve the customers.
