  This is a lovely pub, with friendly professional staff and great food. I came here for Sunday lunch with the family and we all had roasts which were tasty and generous! Daisy served us and was warm and helpful. Would highly recommend!

  The atmosphere was great, staff were fantastic they couldn’t do enough for you. Food was really good & didn’t wait long for food to be served. Entertainment was fantastic. My only suggestion would be the bar closing time could do with being slightly later at 11.30 or 12.00pm as 11.00pm closing makes the evening finish too soon.

  Great to see the pub done up and looking smart again. Hadn't been for a year so was pleasantly surprised to see the place doing a menu again. The food was magnificent and the beers spot on. Won't be leaving it so long next time it was great to be back. 10/10

  Poor experience. Waitress took orders, enquired about allergies than said dish was not available. Re-ordered from main menu. Took a long time which was not a problem if assuming freshly cooked. Butter chicken was plain chicken next to a puddle of sauce (from a bottle), plain rice, no recognisable poppadoms. Horrible and would have sent back but then other two parties would be either eating without me or waiting another hour for round two. Dessert was sent back as microwave had missed a bit. Fish was apparently very average (mainly batter). I did contact manager afterwards but she was disinclined to help. It is not always possible to make a fuss at the time when you have a guest. Perhaps even worse there is no disabled toilet and access to the other toilets is via three steps. According to staff this is not required as they are a listed building (although recently refurbished), There is no mention on the website that they are not disability friendly. We were the only people in there eating for the entire lunch service. I think we have found out why. One star because of the outdoor area which is pleasant and for the waitresses who are very young but have potential if trained.
