  It’s no surprise this place is closing down. We had a Sunday roast along with a couple of children’s meals, and the experience was disappointing. The meat was dry, and the overall dish lacked flavour. The children’s portions were extremely small — even a borrower would have wanted more. Sadly, I won’t be returning to Beefeater again.

  We came along for a birthday meal, first the drinks were wrong which was rectified but this was just the start of a crap experience. Waitress wanted things done her way or not at all, even down to the order we ordered food in… (odd) 2 meals arrived with no onion rings which were included in the price of the meal, we were only then told “oh we’ve run out” we weren’t advised of this at the time of ordering. Steak sampler was “ok” not anything to write home about and even though it was cooked medium rare it was still chewy, and very fatty. Rationed to 2 small dishes of ketchup for a table of 7. Temu sized bread and butter pudding! £291 later and we were rushed out the door carrying our drinks to the garden. Won’t be returning even though this used to be a regular eatery for us.
