  Probably one of our favourite pubs we have been in! We stayed in Evesham for a few nights and would definitely recommend it. Reasonably well priced drinks, great atmosphere, lovely decor along with the tvs and pool tables. Staff were very welcoming and genuine.

  Little has changed inside, although the outside front looks really good. However, having arrived early-evening for a cooling drink, I was surprised not to see more people inside. There were probably about six. I went to the bar as the middle-aged barmaid was finishing serving a customer. I waited ... and waited ... and patiently waited as she continued her conversation with her customer. After a while I turned and left the pub. It was apparent to me that the barmaid wasn't up to the job required of her - I certainly wouldn't employ her in any pub of mine. It's always a shame when otherwise decent looking pubs go and employ substandard bar staff. Good luck with your new start, George & Dragon - you're certainly going to need it.
