katsu soon!
First time trying Wagamamas, the lovely waitress with pink hair was amazing, so attentive, kind, and explanatory. Our waitress though, was good but pink hair lady was better more spiritual. It was at 8pm, probably long day. Definitely coming back. Lovely experience and food, some same out a different times but they did explain beforehand. My duck gyozas where quite dry but still amaze, defo go for the chicken ones

Wagamama has built its reputation on fresh, flavour-packed Asian-inspired dishes, but unfortunately Swansea’s branch doesn’t quite live up to the brand’s promise.
The food looked the part, but that’s where the excitement ended. Across the dishes sampled, flavours were disappointingly subdued, lacking the depth, punch, and balance you’d expect. Nothing was particularly bad, but very little was memorable. For a menu built around bold tastes, the overall experience felt surprisingly bland.
The restaurant itself is showing its age. The interior feels tired and in need of investment, while the atmosphere was almost non-existent. Even on a relatively busy visit, the venue lacked any real energy or buzz, leaving the dining room feeling flat and uninspiring.
To its credit, Wagamama remains reasonably priced, and if you’re simply looking for a quick, affordable meal, it serves a purpose. However, Swansea now has plenty of alternatives offering better flavours, more character, and a far more enjoyable dining experience.

Affordable? Yes. Memorable? Not at all. Wagamama Swansea feels like a restaurant running on reputation rather than quality.
